1964 Chrysler 300 - Resto Rod

The sheet metal and interior will remain relatively stock looking
but the drive train and suspension is all new and fun, beginning
with the crate 426 Hemi engine from Chrysler.

I was hoping to get the car finished by April or May 2003 and cruise it locally, Chicago area, this year. Next year I'd like to do the Power Cruise or Chicago to L.A. on the old Route 66.

Update: June 2003:

The work on the '64 300 is continuing, although not as fast as I'd like. Fabrication, waiting for parts and costs have slowed the progress a bit. The work on the car at the fabricator/speed shop is complete and the car has now been moved back to the restoration shop to complete the bodywork, electrical and interior. Maybe I'll get to drive it by late summer or early fall, 2003

Wow! Pretty cool!

You don't see many 1964 Chryslers in the first place, not to mention one with a 426 Hemi and rodded out suspension.

You bet you'll have a fun ride and quite an attraction at a Street Rod Meet...or anywhere!  Mopar smile!
