It is a 2-door hardtop, restored a couple of years ago, with some small details to finish her out (primarily the dash). My parents bought it from a highway patrolman in Hastings, Nebraska where the lived when they were first married in 1965. We've owned her ever since. It has the 361 and TorqueFlite automatic transmission.

Dad and I started on her in the late 80's. Had it sandblasted, re-built the tranny, ran new brake lines. The engine required no major work. The project stalled out for a number of years as my dad passed away from cancer, our body guy got a divorce and moved out from his house (and shop). Mom and I got it back on track while I was in college and finally got the body work done, and interior (the door panels and arm rests are original) completed in late '97/early '98.

It's a lot of fun.

Thanks, Matt!

Yes, &qyot;a lot of fun" sums it up nicley!

I can't think of a more fitting tribute to your family than to have carried on with the '63's restoration and to again enjoy the power, style and comfort of a big block C Body Mopar! :-)
