Mopar of the Month: June 2001
1964 Plymouth Sport Fury

I cannot begin to explain the joy and pride I felt today as I drove to our big local car show in my ruby red 1964 Sport Fury.
After over 9 months of toil, blood, sweat and tears, it is on the road.
It looks and sounds awesome. I received more comments and praise at the show than I expected!
A huge thanks to all the members in the 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse for untold suggestions, remedies, ideas, encouragement, parts etc. This has really been a "collective" restoration. After over 20 years of sitting idle , and no less than 5 owners during that span, this magnificant car is once again King of the Road! The pictures here do not begin to do the car justice, or capture its presence.
Thanks, Link!
Indeed you have a LOT to feel great about, including your efforts with the Mopar AND all the new "Mopals" in the 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse you made friends with during this restoration.
Indeed, speaking as one of the people who contributed a few "two cents" comments along the way, I share in your excitement about getting this great Sport Fury back on the road. :-)
ENJOY!
