Here's my 1963 Chrysler 300 Pace Setter Convertible.
The production models were not lettered on the side of the body like the mid-1963 produced Pace Setter 'vert used in the 47th Indy 500 race.
Interestingly, there was a non-convertible edition produced as well, but only the convertible was a true replica of the car used to pace Indy.
"Pace Setter" stats:
2-door hardtop "Pace Setter" V-8, 383cid, 2bbl carb, 305bhp, with either 3-speed auto or 3-speed manual, 3,790lbs from $3,769 production: 306
These early 60's BIG Mopars are great, but under-appreciated, vehicles!
With Mopar big block power and wide and long wheelbases and torsion bar/spring suspension and 8.75 rears, these are awesome highway machines!
Look forward to additional photos of your car!
