Bill writes from SW Missouri 65786: My 39,000 mile 1964 Dodge Polara 500 convertible is in excellent condition. In 2021, bought the Mopar from a gentleman who was behind the Dodge's documented ground-up restoration; the Polara 500 is a 383, A833 four-speed car. Since the mid-1960's I wanted a four speed B-body and after driving this convertible and reviewing all the restoration work I could not resist buying the Dodge. Since I have owned this Mopar I added Borgeson power steering and Pertronix ignition. I've had lots of fun taking this really nice Dodge to car shows and cruise-ins and listening to the Bluetooth-enabled radio installed by the restorer. The Dodge trophied several times at car shows. However, I also own a potential-project 1965 Plymouth Satellite that is similar to a Plymouth I owned as a young man, so I decided to sell the 1964 Dodge and focus on the Satellite.
