Dick writes from The Netherlands: A little background here: I bought a black 4 door sedan in the early seventies from a friend but crashed it, sadly enough.

The first day I had the black sedan in The Hague in 1967

I bought this Dodge Dart 1965 Convertible via Ebay 2 years ago [2009] in the blind. I had no time to fly over for inspection; called the seller and had a nice conversation and decided to continue bidding with new knowledge of the machine, asked the ultimate price as well. (A very nice guy in Orlando Florida do do business with I might add.).

Got it! It was the middle of the night at my end due to the time difference. Called the seller next day to settle all things; found transport company in Rotterdam, to do all the paperwork and stuff.

Wow! And there the Mopar came out of the 40 foot sea container.

Did little adjustments when at home, like headlights for Europe and so on, for Obtaining the Dutch license plates after the state check on imported vehicles. New floor carpet, hydraulic-convertible-top-cylinders, hubcaps, dash vents, door locks, etc., etc. Oh, I did the new shocks and tires too.

Automatic transmission filter and gasket, after flushing the entire system a few times to get rid of the metal debris after 45 years. An entire protection exterior and interior against the Dutch humidity was performed as well.

Since I am a pensioner last year, I use it several times a week, weather permitting, anyway. Reason enough to be proud of this fantastic car!
