The Dodge was a Florida car, and when my wifes dad died back in 2006 we got the car! The Polara was originally bought by her Uncle Pete in Orlando Florida, then her Uncle Bob got it, then her mother. It was sitting in my father-in-laws garage, and hadn't run in 6 years.

I had some minor work done in Florida before flat bedding the Mopar up to our home in Minnesota to get the Dodge into running shape. We have kept the Polara stock (even has the original AM radio!), and enjoy going to the car shows up here in Minneapolis where we have won a first in class at Midwest Mopars Mopars in the Park and a best in show at the Walter P Chrysler Regional Show. |
