June 2002 Mopar of the Month
1962 Chrysler 300H convertible
Mike Meyer writes:
I recently completed a ground up restoration of a 1962 Chrysler 300H convertible. |

The 300 was in pretty bad shape when I got it,
but everything was removed (including the differential) and then either replaced with NOS (and I mean 1962 vintage) or completely rebuilt.
The car was painted in synthetic enamel Oyster White.
The top is an exact reproduction of the original top that came with the car.
The interior was done with OEM leather and the last remaining 3 yards of OEM vinyl.
The carpet is an exact duplicate of the original (since the original is no longer available and there are no aftermarket reproductions).
Even the rubber trunk mat has been meticulously reproduced.
Thanks!
