Paul writes: My 1963 Chrysler 300 Convertible is the Pace Setter with the 413 cid V-8, 4 barrel carburetor and 360 brake horsepower going through the three-speed push-button automatic TorqueFlite transmission propelling 3,840 pounds. R-12 A/C blows ice cold, Mopar drives great with no rattles and everything works perfectly! The 300 was restored in 2000 with new original black paint, new correct interior, new top that seals tightly, and re-cored radiator. The original engine and transmission were rebuilt by the Chrysler Corporation. Of the 1,861 Pace Setters produced, this is the only black example known. This 1963 Chrysler is in flawless condition. Absolutely no rust. Wide white wall tires finish it off appropriately. |
