Kalle writes from Finland: Our project is a 1962 Chrysler Newport, 361 big block with pushbutton TorqueFlite. |

The Chrysler was not used for about 10 years when in the USA. The Mopar has been in Finland three years now; it was registered in the summer of 2013. |

The sun took a toll on the inside and the outside of the Mopar. My wife will sew a new interior in the summer of 2014 and I will put in a new carpet. We are not sure about painting. We appreciate the Chryslers original look. But in Finland, under the circumstances, the paint will not remain like that for long. | ![]() |
The seats are finished. We did the same look as the car is outside. I am very pleased with my wifes sewing skills.
April 19: The door panels are finished. I had to change both front floor pans. Next, new carpet will go in place. Benches have been ready to install for some time.

April 29: My wife was inspired to sew the headliner and we put it in place.

The new interior installation is almost complete, except for the dashboard and sun visors.
