Mopar Pushbutton transmission cables
From Bill Watson:
For a column shift, all 1965 Chrysler Corporation cars, except the Imperial,
used part number 2460552 for the park sprag. The Imperial used 2533 725.
For the park sprag, console vehicles, the A body used 2467 949 (48 inches) at
first, changing to 2534 415 (41 inches) sometime during August, 1964. All other
Chrysler Corp. cars used 2461 929 for the console.
Cable 2534 411 is listed for R/W vehicles, in addition to the above, but does
not say for which application.
For the R-N-D-2-1 cable, all B and C bodies used cable 2533 784 (20.96 inches)
for the column-shift models, 6 and V8. For the B and Cmodels with
console, part number 2461 928 (44.96 inches) was used.
Imperial used 2534 410 (44.96 inches) for all models.
The A bodies used 2534 413 (19.96 inches) with no console, and 2534 412 (23 inches) with console.
Right hand drive models used different cables, usually, than the left hand
drive cars.
Thanks, Bill!
