1965 Dodge Dart GT Convertible

Tom writes:     I bought my 1965 Dart GT Convertible from my dad around the end of February. He bought it in 1975. When Mom and Dad were running it regularly, it got about 26 MPG on the highway.

The car has been sitting in Dad's barn since 1988, except for an oil and gas change yearly.

This car is original, including paint. The driver's door has been replaced once and Center Caps and rings have been added. I'm still looking for some 1965 Dart hubcaps.

It has a 273 Commando complete with 4-Barrel and 4 speed transmission.

With a little sweat and blood, the acrylic paint still has a great shine to it. The car has cleaned up nicely. It still has a lot of work to be done to it. Being able to drive it while I fix things will be fun.

I registered the car last weekend. I can't wait to take a cruise in it. I have a few more things to tune on it and she'll be ready to go.

Thanks, Tom!

You will certainly have a good time with that four speed V-8 convertible Dart!

And carry on the Mopar family tradition too! :-)
