426 (Street Wedge) bare block for sale, no mains. This block is quite rare as it is a very early casting and can be used on your 1963 or 1964 Mopar. Of course it can be used for any RB or Big Block application you wish if you do not care about the numbers. The casting Number is: 2406730-1 The casting date is 10-11-62 (again, very early as there were very few if any 1963 cars with the 426 wedge motor). The stamping is V 42 HP (1964 426-365 horsepower, High Performance) The stamping Date is 12-3 which is 12-3-63, assembled for an early 1964 Street Wedge Mopar. There is a tiny bit of deterioration at the top of the 'd' and 'r' toward the back side but it is not really noticeable unless you really look closely for it; there are tiny 'age spots' that kinda show up in the picture of the front; but they are not visible from a distance. PART WANTED: 1964 early Plymouth / Dodge Courtesy Light Lens. These lenses are mounted on the 'C' pillar of all 2-door hardtops built in early 1964. They are ALL plastic, one piece construction, with vacuum plated 'chrome' outer bezels and a concave aluminum disc sunk into the center of the lens.
