I have a 1965 Valiant with a turbocharged 170 slant six.

I did the installation in 1979. My best 1/4 mile was 13.39 @ 104 mph, and it got about 18 mph on the street. Car weighs about 2700-2800 lbs with me in it.

The webber carb did not work well, so I used a 500 holley 2bbl. The engine is a 170 /6 in a 1965 Valiant 100 2dr sdn. with 904 auto, and a 7 1/4 (3.91 ratio ) rear end.

Hopefully with the upgrades i will be doing it will break into the 11's in street trim...(if I ever get it finished).
Thanks, Charlie!

Style, good mileage, and a 13 second drag car, who could ask for more?

Please keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks,
Gary H.
