1964 Plymouth Sport Fury

Dan Pleier writes:

My Mopar is a 1964 Sport Fury that I have owned for over 20 years.

I am currently installing a 400 BB out of a pickup as the last of a long line of replacements for the original 383. I am looking for pulleys to match the 383 alternator and PS pump to the front of the 400.

I am also finishing up a front disk brake conversion using parts from a 1974 Duster. The 727 is the only part of the drive train that is still original.

The body is staight and nearly rust free but needs to be repainted. Early Imron Clear Coat did not hold up well.

The black Bucket interior is in pretty good shape but the carpet is badly worn. It has a factory tach and shifter on the console.

I hope to have it fixed and running by next summer.
20 years, Dan! Wow, that Mopar is certainly part of your family and a good ol' friend.

Good luck with the restoration and keep us posted, please.
