1965 Dodge Coronet

Here is a picture of my buddie's '65 Coronet. It was loaded up and ready for my Ram to haul it to Columbus for the Nat's in 2000.
We cruised and drove to the show in the 65. What a great time we both had. Lots of waves and thumbs up from people.
The Coronet was originally a 426 street wedge and 4 speed car. Its been in my buddies family since the early 70's. His dad, uncle and himself have all drag raced it. Its retired from drag racing (for now) and takes on street duty with a 440 and 727 with 3.91 gears.
Thanks, Jesse!
That Coronet looks very nice! I can see why "thumbs up!" is the reaction
from people viewing the '65. :-)
And having fun is really what these Mopars are all about!
