1964 Dodge Polara 500

Mike writes from New Mexico:
My “new” 1964 Dodge Polara 500 is an exact copy of one I had in high school and college. I spent 15 years looking for a Dodge identical to my original Mopar and one not chopped up and modified from stock.

This Polara 500 is a one-owner (little old lady from Long Beach, CA) 67,000 mile original survivor with all the original paperwork (title, broadcast sheet, owner’s manual and warranty cards and records, window sticker, etc.) and the Dodge still had the original 1964 California black plate used since new.

She had some dings and chalking paint (but not a speck of rust), so that is all fixed and painted now, the original Anniversary Gold.

as is the engine, tranny, and all original equipment. 1964 Dodge Polara 500, 383 engine

This Mopar holds special memories, as my wife of 38 years and I dated, married, and went on our honeymoon in a 1964 Dodge Polara 500. In fact the trunk was so big we could fit everything we owned in it and the back seat for a few years after we married.

This Mopar runs and rides like new and I really enjoy driving her around.
