| I had been checking out the 62-65 Mopar Web site for a while and decided to sell my 1970 Plymouth Duster so I could get a 1965 Satellite like the one I had bought brand new when I was a kid back in 1965. | ![]() |
I had three friends that had 1965 Satellites and since the 1965 Mopars were tearing up the competition at the drag strips, it was a easy decision to get a Mopar. I got on e-bay and found a Plymouth Satellite that I liked and began bidding on the Mopar. The reserve price was not met, so I contacted the seller and we agreed on a price; I had a Mopar restorer check out the car for me and bought the car after getting a good report.

I drove the Plymouth for a while and decided I wanted to restore the interior back to original by replacing the door panels and seat covers with Legendary upholstery. I also decided to reinstall the console which was one of the biggest challenges since I had figure out away to patch the vinyl after getting replated die cast parts for it. |

After the body restoration got under way I realized that I had seen the car I bought on the 62-65 Mopar web site so I checked it out to make sure and sure enough it was listed by Gary Bradshaw in April of 2002!
| After a year and half the car is finally done. I am very pleased with the results and proud to be able to relive a little of my own history! | ![]() |
THANKS FOR THIS GREAT WEB SITE: IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE 62-65 MOPAR WEB SITE I MIGHT NOT BE CRUISING IN MY 65 AND ENJOYING THE GOOD OLD DAYS AGAIN!
