Gary,

Great site, I visit it all the time. Lots of great info and pics of beautiful old Mopars.

Here's some info on my baby, it's a '65 Coronet 500 with 27,000 original miles.

I've wanted a '65 Coronet for 15 years, but could never find one I could afford. I found this one at the 1998 Mopar Nationals. It didn't have the engine I wanted but it was a low milage car with air condtioning and in pretty good shape, so I sold my '73 340 Duster and went to Cleveland to buy it.

Although it was in good shape, I have just about replaced or repaired everything on it, plus buying the engine and trans and completely redoing all of it.

It was just painted and buffed by my brother-in-law about a week before these pictures were taken.

I pulled the 318 poly out and put it away and built a 1969 440 30 over with Mopar Performance cam, electronic ignition conversion, valve covers and chrome timing cover, Performer rpm intake, Holley 750 carb and a few more goodies.

Also I rebuilt the 727 trans and put a B&M shift kit and hole shot converter and B&M star shifter in it.

It has all new legendary interior and all new rubber around the trunk, doors and windows.

It runs great and turns a lot of heads where I live.

There is a lot more I want to do to it as I get the money.

We don't see many Mopars down in the area where I live, so mine really turns heads; makes it all worthwhile when somebody says, "Man! That sure is a sharp car, what is it?"

Thanks again for the web site, I'm glad to see someone devote all the time and effort that you have to our beloved Mopars!

And thanks for showing my car on your site, it's my pride and joy.

Thanks, Zeb!

Glad to hear that you enjoy the 1962 to 1965 Mopar Web Site!

You have quite a neat Mopar yourself!

Your low mileage Dodge, now with big block, is sure to bring a smile and "thumbs up" whereever it goes.

:-)

Keep up the good work!
