1964 Plymouth Belvedere
Damon writes:
I ended up selling the car yesterday to a MOPAR enthusiast in AZ, who plans on fully restoring it!
I own a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere. It is in near perfect condition and has just shy of 43K original miles on its 318 engine.
A family friend of ours owned it and kept it in the garage. The only defects being minor dings and chipped paint, and the front bench has some tears/separations, that occur naturally over the course of 37 years.
It is the beige with light brown interior that is common with these cars. Its trunk is even lined with newspapers from the '60s as well. I also have the original owners manual, (its corners are still sharp) and the maintenance manual, dutifully filled
out every 3k miles for at least the first 20k miles of ownership (if not more). Since it had been kept indoors, it is entirely free of rust. All instruments work from dash lights, to cigarette lighter to radio...
Nice, original California car!
Re- update: Glad to hear a Mopar fan will restore this survivor!
