Shawn Henry, Director, Apple Valley Police Activities League writes: Our youth group received a donated 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury project car. We have a small group of high school-aged kids who are going to completely rebuild the Mopar with the help of sponsors/donors and volunteers.

Update June 2013

Our youth project is moving forward, however slowly, and we are getting ready to make the choice on wheels.

The 440 rebuild is under way.

And the body is near its first coat of primer.

The team also took the opportunity to visit the 2012 NHRA Winternationals.

Update November 2013

We have added 4 new kids. The Team has been working on the body, rear end and front subframe. We hope to have the Plymouth in primer before Christmas and back off jack stands by spring.
