1964 Dodge Polara 500

OK, here's a story for you all, my name is Allen Dodge and I was born in 1964 (good year). I was on my way to the bank one day after I had just moved to WA state. Two blocks from the house I see a '64 Dodge Polara 500 drive by me and there is a for sale sign in the window. So, I had to stop the kid driving it so I could get a better look. The car was in so, so shape, motor was very tired and over heating, carb was junk, and so on, overall the car was very fixable. The young kid just did not know what he had. So lets just say that I did not make it to the bank to open a new account.

After many hours of parts looking and work on the car, a few body parts interior work, new motor and paint, I was off to my first car show. I took first place at that show for pre-67 B body stock. That was all about 8 years ago, to this day the car still looks good and I have driven it from the Kansas City area to the west coast area three times now. And many other place's too.

So lets re-cap, I am a '64 Dodge and I drive a '64 Dodge. Sounds pretty cool does it not.

Well thanks for your time and keep up the good work with your 62-65 mopar page, I think its great, I am looking to build a '64 post 330 Dodge for the 1\4, all I need is a good body to start with. Again I say thanks and keep up the good work.
