1964 Plymouth Belvedere

Rick writes: I had bought a 1973 Dodge Charger for parts and on my way home stopped for a coffee. A man came up and asked if I’d be interested in another car. Of course you know the answer to that. After a couple months of persuading him to sell, we made a deal. Come to find out the car was a drag car 426 wedge (original), no longer with the car. The Mopar was raced with a Hemi, after talking with the original owner’s son. The Plymouth Belvedere hardtop is now in storage waiting its turn as other projects take a front seat. I love these old B bodies.

I still have more research to do. The car was owned and raced by Stan Newman out of Izzos Plymouth in Mechanicville New York. He was a factory sponsored driver and very good friend of Cha Cha Muldowney.
